Yay! I love when puzzles are harder than they look :)

Seemed from whose point of view: your own? some other specific person/people? people in general? did you actually get bigger and shrink?
Are you you? if not, are you human?
Time travel relevant? relativistic length contraction? overeating and dieting?

Do you mean your whole body seemed to grow and shrink, or only part of you (e.g. stomach)?

Did you travel to a place where people were smaller than you so you seemed large by comparison, and then returning home the reverse happened?

Did you seem to shrink because of the absence of whatever condition had previously made you seem to get bigger? or did you seem to shrink for a completely different reason?
Relevant where you travelled to? where you travelled from? how far you travelled? is this a real journey? or something metaphorical? is it actually a vacation?

Length contraction, according to Albert Einstein's special theory of relativity, is the decrease in length experienced by people or objects traveling at a substantial fraction of the speed of light. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Length_contraction

Did you travel a specific distance, measurable in metres?
Did you travel in the usual sense, i.e. from one physical area to another?
Did you seem to get bigger physically?
Did you travel by foot? By some vehicle?

Does this puzzle have to do with the media you travelled in? For example... did you travel into space? People grow a bit in space since less pressure is placed on their spinal column. Then they shrink again once back on earth. Or did you travel underwater? Similar effect, hence why whales are capable of growing to such enormous sizes.

irrelevant-for the purposes of the puzzle we shall assume aeroplane and you can measure the distance between the airports

Where did you first travel from: Antarctica? South America? North America? Europe? Asia? Africa? Australia?
Where did you first travel to (from the above list)?
Where did you travel from, the second time? where did you travel to?
Did your second journey take you back to where you started the first time?

Has this got to do with the languages spoken and/or written in different locations?

Are the differing average heights of British, French, and Australian people relevant? (if there is such a difference)

Has this something to do with what you were wearing?
Did your self-esteem grow bigger/shrink? Any other not-tangible thing? Psychology relevant?
Brain important?
Time between the two journeys important?
Season important?
Languages of the countries Britain, France, Australia important?

Surely this is to do with shoe size or clothes size being different. In one country one could be a size 34, in the next a size 32 etc. thus one "appears" to have grown or shrunk.

Well done Evil Kenevil....just about it
**SPOILER**

Since different countries use different measuring systems, sizes can change different. For the purpose of the puzzle, were I to be female and make the journey above,I would find that bust sizes go from say a 34 in Britain to 85 in France to 10 in Australia--hence the appearing to get much bigger, then much smaller :)
Well done all.Hope you liked it.Keep watching!
