he couldn't find a knife Garden fork or normal cutlery fork? man - human? Stabbing - piercing skin? again and again - is each attempt doing what the man wants to? or is it that he can't achieve the aim of the stabbing motion? |

Is he intending to hurt himself? to gain attention? does he do it as a form of communication? Is he physically able-bodied? Is it relevant that he stabs himself with a fork rather than another utensil? relevant where on his body he is stabbing himself? does he stab himself in the same place each time? |

True story? Is there anything physically special about this man? Can he feel pain? Is his occupation relevant? Is he doing this willlingly? Is he young? Middle-aged? Old? Does he want to kill himself? Does he think he is going to die in the near future? Is he upset over something? Is he masochistic? Is there anyone else involved? Where is he--at home? In the kitchen? His location relevant? Is there anyone watching him as he stabs himself? Does he want anyone to know? Will he gain anything material by mutilating himself? |

How many are watching him--one? a few? a crowd? Friend(s)? Family? Stranger(s)? How do(es) the watcher(s) feel about this--happy? upset? do they try to stop him? do they understand why he is doing this? Does he think someone is going to kill him? Does he think he will die of natural causes? Does he think stabbing himself will delay his death? prevent it? Is he indoors? outdoors? |

He was told that he was going to be killed? Is the group who wants to kill him among the 30 watchers? So...he wants to have his skin filled with holes before they kill him? Do the would-be-killers want his skin full of holes for some reason? Or do they want his skin intact, and he is ruining it to spite them? |
