Erik saw Kristjana Gudmundsdottir enter the room;
then Frank made another mistake and Kristjana disappeared.

well, with all the sharp-minded people around, I don't believe it will last long, so please use email for early SPLRS!

Is Erik inside the room?
Is Frank?
Frank doesn't sound as nordic a name as the other two... relevant?
When Kristjana disappeared: did she move? did she dematerialize? was she in one place at one moment and not in this place the next moment? was she killed?
Computers relevant? Virtual environments relevant?
Are all these people made of flesh and blood? are they alive?

Plot hole? Did Frank write that Kristjana entered the room, then a few pages later promptly forgot about her presence in the room and continued the story as if she wasn't there?

Relevant how Frank writes? does he use a pencil? pen? typewriter? computer? Does he erase Kristjana's name from the page?
Was Kristjana's disappearance caused by the error? Was it caused by the correction of the error?
Did the first error also influence the character of Kristjana?

Does Kristjana ever appear again in the story? Did Frank mean for her to disappear? Did he write explicitly that she vanished?
In trying to correct the first error, did he commit the second? Did he try to correct both at the same time? or the first one, then the second? Did he try to correct the first error before he made the second error? Did he succeed in correcting the first error? the second?
The mistakes he makes are mistakes in writing? Does he lose any pages etc?

Does he mistype her name? Does he use that white stuff you paint over typewriter errors?
Did a new character appear? Was it Kristina Goodmundsdottir? ;) Is "Kristjana Gudmundsdottir" in fact the mistyped name?

Did he accidentally make her disappear, then when he realised his mistake, he explained the disappearance? Because he was using a typewriter, it was troublesome to go back and make alterations, so he had to correct the error as he went along? Had he made another character disappear before?

Did he always mistype the name? Did he decide to go with an easier-to-type name?

i knew you guys are too good here!

SPOILER ---> Frank Tellastory is writing chapter one of his new book: "The Icelandic connection".
He just uses the first names that sprung to his mind for the male and female lead characters, but he soon finds out that typing "Kristjana Gudmundsdottir" correctly it's not as easy as it seems!
So after the tenth mistake in a row, he curses out loud, destroyes the pages and rewrites them all using the new name of Anna Jonsson.

hehe... I can just see Frank going berserk and sending Kristjana Gudmundsdottir to hell in form of a paper ball - and I'm lucky I'm not another character in Frank's story or I would probably share Kristjana's fate...
