Are we talking about the historical figure Gaius Julius Caesar here? Was he crossing the river as part of a military campaign? |

Was Caesar the man who died? Rubicon = the real river? Or did he just cross the Rubicon in some metaphorical way? Is Caesar a man at all? |

Does the puzzle involve some sort of game? Movie? Tv show? Anything other than an actual historical event? How many hers could a ceasar seize if a ceasar could seize her? |

Did anyone else cross the rubicon with Caeser? Was anyone else involved in any way? Was his death accidental? Murder? Inevitable, given that he crossed the rubicon? Would he have died if he hadn't crossed the rubicon? |

did he know he was going to die if he crossed it? was he reluctant to cross it? was it (intentional) suicide? was he trying to acheive something by crossing the rubicon (other than simply crossing it?) did he achieve this aim? so it's fictional right? from a book? a play? a poem? from your imagination? |

Is there anything significant to the "just" in the "but just one man died"? (Given that only Caesar crossed the rubicon...) e.g. did his actions prevent the deaths of others? is crossing the rubicon an action carried out by caesar in one location? or did it involve him travelling anywhere? |

I'll give it my best, don't like to see a puzzle die Was the phrase 'crossed the rubicon' meant to imply simply that a man went beyond the point of no return? Or that he went to some place from which he was unable to return? Erm, this Ceasar - Male? Human? Alive (before corssing, obviously...)? Was his suicide meant to hurt others? Or help others? Or involve others? |

Falling from height Yes ***************SPOILER********************* The only tricky thing in this puzzle is, that it has nothing to do with Gaius Julius Caesar and the Rubicon. A man, called Caesar, commits suicide by jumping down a skyscraper. When he jumps, he crosses the rubicon (not literally but, once you are falling, it's pretty hard to go back) and he is the only one who dies. |
