Do we need to find out who this politician is exactly? Relevant that she is female? Relevant that she is a politician? Do we need to find out which country she is from? Does she have any health problems? Play--a game? a sport? a musical instrument? anyone else involved in her "playing"? She couldn't go to sleep...ever?? Or only that particular night? or day? a few days? If she went to sleep, would she die? fall ill? be in danger of falling ill? |

Hi Cookie! Glad to see you again here. I'm still curious what the solution of your last puzzle before you left would have been ... Is it relevant where the sand was from? Was the sand removed from the sandbox? All sand from all sandboxes in that region? Was the sand actually more radioactive than any other usual sandbox sand? Were new limits for the allowed contamination of sand for sandboxes introduced? and it turned out that most sandboxes exceeded them? Is the location relevant? (close to Geesthacht, maybe?) |

All sand from all sandboxes in that region? yes! Is the location relevant? yesish (close to Geesthacht, maybe?) no What you found out yet: A politician decided to remove sand from the sandboxes in the area he is responsible for because he was afraid the sand could be radioactive. The little girl couldn't play in the sandbox. The reason why she couldn't go to sleep is related to the sandman. If you find out the reason and when this happened and the region where this could have happened you solved everything. |

So he had the sand removed. Our little girl couldn't play in the sandbox. Because she thought the sand was removed from everywhere she assumed that the sandman also doesn't have sand and couldn't go to sleep because she worried that she could not dream. Well done! |
