Sorry about all the irrelevants, I'd just rather say that than make up an arbitrary and possibly misleading answer.

I will say that the reason that so many answers are irrelevant has to do with the fact that this is a very lateral, and not extremely literal puzzle

Noish to water...did he drink one of those oxygenated water drinks? Is this drink a common one?
The something relevant that happened during the golf game: did it happen to him? to one of the other players? to the surroundings? to his car? Did he pack up properly before heading to his car?
After buying his mystery drink, he drives around for a while, lost, correct? Does he head back to the gas station at any point? Does he find himself back at the golf course?

Was the drink for himself? someone else? something else?
Was he thirsty?
Is "gas station" the kind that would have a name like BP, Shell, Esso etc?
Did the drink contain one or more of these ingredients?
- water
- syrup
- CO2
- caffein
- carbonhydrates
- petroleum
Is the name of the drink well known internationally? Same name everywhere or different in different langages?

This one looks tough, I'll jump in and join the chaos...

Well the type of drink that you are describing here goes by several names that I can think of:
slushee? slurpee? misty? frostee? something else?

And the "tee" reference, does it relate to any of the following with regards to the puzzle:
tee shirt?
tee-tee?
iced tea (tee)?
the fact that the word "tee" and the letter combination "ty" can rhyme?

Was Stu...
sick?
ill?
unwell?
ailing?
infected?
unhealthy?
poorly?
queasy?
run down?

Maybe "tee" alludes to the letter "t'?

Is the word "stick" involved?
Hmm...Maybe if we take a "tee off" the stick...he gets "sick"? Haha
Is it relevant that his name is Stu?

Hmm...Maybe if we take a "tee off" the stick...he gets "sick"? Haha ah, but you're very much on the right track. The "tee off" part is correct, but not off the word stick.
