If he were to tell Catelin the truth, would she be angry? Would she think badly of him? Think him immoral? Is he actually protecting Catelin by not telling her the truth? So something bad would happen to him if he told Catelin the truth? Would it cause Catelin to do something? Not do something? Go somewhere? Not go somewhere? Is Catelin the only person he lies to? Is Joanne the only person he tells the truth to? Does whether or not he tells the truth depend on factors other than who asks the question?
