Do we only have #1, #2, #3 and #4? Or are there more numbered humans in the same series involved? Is the numbering in itself relevant or is it just used instead of names, to confuze us? Would anything change if we would have, for example: Man kills three. The next day he kills two. Four survived, and so one disappeared. If there is any such combination which would yeald a relevant (or different than the majority) answer, could you spare me the listing of all the arrangements and say it? |

Do we only have #1, #2, #3 and #4? Or are there more numbered humans in the same series involved? Irr Is the numbering in itself relevant Yesish or is it just used instead of names, to confuze us? Yes Would anything change if we would have, for example: Man kills three. The next day he kills two. Four survived, and so one disappeared. Yes If there is any such combination which would yeald a relevant (or different than the majority) answer, could you spare me the listing of all the arrangements and say it? The following sentences would work perfectly for the riddle as well and would give the same (or at least, very similar) answer: Man kills one. The next day, he kills four. Three survived, and so two disappeared. Man kills one. The next day, he kills three. Four survived, and so two disappeared. Man kills three. The next day, he kills one. Four survived, and so two disappeared. Man kills four. The next day, he kills one. Three survived, and so two disappeared. Man kills four. The next day, he kills three. One survived, and so two disappeared. |

Would it also work if you changed it to: Man kills Charlie. The next day he kills David. Adam survived, and so Bob disappeared? Is "two" the Man? Is the one who survives the same as anyone of the two who were killed? The first or the second? Man? |

Ok, so do the numbers have any relevance other than to confuse us regarding how may people were involved? When he "disappears" does thid mean he has gone into hiding? If so, hiding from the police? from One? from someone else? Can we actually refer to them by names now?1=Adam, 2=Bob, 3=Charlie, 4=David? What is Adam's connection to Bob: Family? Friend? Co-Worker? Stranger? Relevant? Same questions for Charlie's connection to Bob and David's connection to Bob. Is the method Bob used to kill Charlie and David relevant? Was it the same method? Was a typical weapon involved? poison? any other objects? Is it relevant why David and Charlie were killed on two different days? |

Recap: The Man had killed a man known as "three" and next day a man known as "four". He also tried to kill a man known as "One", but One survived, which led to Man being taken away by the police. What you have to determine is pretty much why they are referred to the way they were. |

So do the men in question wear numbered jackets? Or numbered vests, like Olympic sprinters? And he was number 2? indeed sir! ***SPOILER*** The men are sprinters. The Two knew that he didn't stand a chance against the other, so he wanted to kill the others so that he would be the one who gets the medal. But when he tried to kill One, he failed, and One called the police to arrest Two. |

Man kills three. The next day, he kills four. One survived, and so two disappeared. Version 1 the man kills three but fails to kill one then he commits suicide and two runs away (why? i don't know may be he was helping four or he was four's teammate). the man = four Version 2 the man kills three but fails to kill one he then kills four and runs away. the man = two |
