Heres one idea: Thomas was at a party or vacation for several days. He forgot to clean out the fish tank, so while Thomas was out there having fun, Jeff just died. |

Jeffery is not a domestic animal ergo he is not a fish. HINT: Jeffery is from a species of wild animals that can be kept as pets, this story is based on a myth and both were at the same place. |

The puzzle is almost over. All that is left to find is the myth that it is based on and the scenario will reveal itself. |

So we need to guess the form of celebration, yes? Did Thomas dance? Sing? Shout loudly? Was the scorpion responding to sound? Sight? Touch? Taste? Smell? Does it matter what Thomas was celebrating? Or just how he was celebrating? |

So there is a myth that alcohol causes scorpions to sting themselves? If so, does Thomas simply spill a drink over Jeff, causing him to sting himself to death?bingo ********SPOILER******** There is a myth, that states that pouring alcohol over a scorpion will cause it to sting itself to death. Thomas here, was celebrating due to *insert random reason here* and managed to spill some of his alcoholic drink on his scorpion Jeffery, causing him (Jeffery) to sting himself. |
