Maybe illegal, but it happens all the time (can't believe that could be legal??) did she refuse because she didn't want to look younger? no was afraid of something else that would happen at the procedure? Reasonable or not, this belief is common. So she wouldn't have a facelift & lost her job in an ageist field where she had to look young.
