Didn't mean necessarily a public building, just that it is a "normal" one, one that a person (children as well as adults) physically can enter Is it someone's house? Is it a business? |

Was Herman... ...the Dungeon Master? ...One of the players? ...A character controlled by the Dungeon Master? ...A character controlled by one of the players? Did destroying the building further any of the following goals: ...killing an enemy human? monster? ...destroying an enemy organization? ...retrieving treasure? ...gaining experience points? Were any house rules being used? Any game elements (like a spell, monster type, trap etc.) that the DM just made up that weren't in the rule book? (Either of these would explain the "not in any of the books" in the puzzle's title.) |

Was the building... ...a dungeon? ...a lair where a monster lived? ...something blocking a path to a monster? ...itself a monster? Is a particular type of monster relevant? Did he succeed in destroying the building? If he had, would he have... ...destroyed a monster? ...gained experience points? Was destroying the building simply one step in achieving a larger goal? |
