I'm not really sure, but irr was the car automatic or standard? irr was he trying to drive with the good leg but the prosthetic got in the way? not sure which he was using, but the prosthetic did get in the way. was it his car? I believe so... he had trouble braking? yes couldn't stop accelerating?and yes You've pretty much figured it out, so that's good enough for a spoiler--- *****SPOILER***** This was a true story. I read it in an article in one of our newspapers--a man ran his truck (I figured type was irr, so car could work for this puzzle) through a brick wall of a liquor store when his prosthetic leg became jammed between the accelerator and brake pedal. He wasn't injured, but on a side note (irr for this puzzle)--he was given a ticket for not having a valid driver's license! Thanks to all who participated and to sixtyeight for spoiling! |
