Gary greeted and welcomed everyone, and told them to be silent. One person spoke, followed by a second, and then another. Gary then shouted at the second and third person to have spoken, but not the first person. Why did he not shout at the first person? |

the first person was someone other than Gary? did he shout at them for speaking out? or because of something they said? did they all speak the same language? Did Gary hear the first speaker? Did Gary understand the first speaker? was the first speaker speaking to the group? to an individual? other? was the second speaker speaking to the group? to an individual? other? was the third speaker speaking to the group? to an individual? other? was there any relevant person other than Gary, #1, #2, & #3? is the size of the group relevant? were there more than 4 people present? Is Gary's mental health relevant? Gary's occupation rel.? is he a teacher? |

regarding the first person to speak, is his occupation relevant? is he a pastor/religious in nature? is he a teacher? lecturer? was the first person to speak giving a prayer? a sermon? a lecture? a lesson? Were the people 2-# students? were they supposed to be silent so they could listen to the first person? |

is that the answer then? so Gary greeted, welcomed and asked for silence, then #1 translated what Gary had said for the class? then the other 2 started speaking ignoring the silence command and were therefore shouted at, did #4 tell #3 off for not obeying the silence command? |
