Let's try this scenario... Carl's mother Betty wants to get a new carpet, so they peel it up after she calls for a garbage pick-up... Carl's father Joe sees this as a good opportunity to kill her, so that when the garbae collecter comes, he can just toss her in. Sam is the garbageman/woman coming to get the old carpet to take to the dump and comes to the house where Carl answers the knock on the door. Sam asks for Betty because she had placed the call to get rid of the old carpet, and Carl said where she was, just as the father came to the door. Sam asked Joe about this, who wasn't planning on anyone knowing about his wife being dead. Good job Carl, if I am indeed correct. So am I at least close? Please? ;] | ||

Is Sam a cop?YES Had she been reported missing?YES!!! That will do for a SPOILER: This is taken from a recent news story in the US, I can't remember what state. A woman, who happened to be pregnant, was reported missing and the police ended going to her house to investigate. They found the woman's 2 year old son there, alone, where he had apparently been for days without supervision. When the police asked the boy where his mother was he responded with a quite chilling remark: "Mommy's yelling, Mommy broke the table, Mommy's in the rug." Needless to say this was more than a little concerning and turned the case into a murder investigation, and the child's father (ex-husband or ex-boyfriend or something to the woman) was, I believe, arrested and charged. So far there has not been a trial. |
