Does it have something to do with the number of "memory chunks" we can handle? |

Is it relevant what these things are? Is someone guessing the amount of something? Or predicting something? like how many of these things will fit into something else? |

If not Rabrab's suggestion; are the items smaller than a mobile phone? smaller than a book? smaller than a chair? smaller than a car? smaller than a house? bigger than a house? Would a "normal" person use an item like this frequently? Every now and then? Hardly ever? Would only a person with a special interest use it? or a special job? Or is it to be used by humans at all? |

They're (yes) living, (Yope) man-made, but not natural? Are they basically animal? (human? bird? fish? mammal? insect/arthropod?) plant? micro-organism? Are they genetically engineered? physically altered or constrained at a structural level (like bonsai trees or topiaries)? physically altered or constrained on the cosmetic level (like with hair dye)? |

Do these six but not seven non-adult humans share a physical characteristic? an emotional characteristic? an intellectual characteristic? a spiritual characteristic? a physical ability? an emotional ability? an intellectual ability? a spiritual ability? a skill? a belief? Not adults -- are they newborn to 1 year old? 1 year to 3 years old? 3 to 5 years old? 5 or 6 years old? 7 to 9 years old? 10 to 13 years old? 13 to 15 years old? 15 to 17 years old? 17 to 18 years old? 18 to 21 years old? (for statistical purposes in the US at least, in many cases, under 21 is still counted as a 'child', I have no idea why...) |

would you say..."maybe he could adopt six children, but definitely not seven"... ? does this have to do with adoption rules? laws? one person's capacity for adoption? is the presence (or lack thereof) of a mother relevant? is there a relevant person who needs to know the maximum possibilty for number of adopted children? are biological children relevant? asia? europe? americas? |

Wild guess: Is the statement that he could adopt children from six continents, but not all seven? (There are no children who would be available for adoption from Antarctica since, first off, there are no children in Antarctica, and secondly, even if there were, they would be citizens of a country on one of the other continents.) |

(There are no children who would be available for adoption from Antarctica since, first off, there are no children in Antarctica, and secondly, even if there were, they would be citizens of a country on one of the other continents.) Hey, that's great! You got it right on the dot! That is a *************spoiler!************* I knew it would end up going fast in the end. This was actually from a newspaper article that I read. It seems that a lot of entertainers are deciding to adopt children, and now Ricky Martin is one. In the article, he stated that he wished to adopt one child from each continent. I found that to be a little funny and thought that it wouldn't be quite possible. He could adopt one from each of the other six continents, but from Antartica he could only get a penguin or maybe a seal, but he couldn't adopt a child. Hence, maybe he could get six, but definitely not seven... Here's a blurb from the article: "SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Ricky Martin wants kids — perhaps adopting "one from each continent" if possible." and a link to the article: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,292768,00.html Thanks for all to playing--and congratulations to Rabrab for the correct wild guess and to 68 for some good questions! |
