Jim looked at the three men in front of him. All were silent. One tapped his finger on the table. They waited. After what seemed like an eternity, another joined them. Everyone was happy to see him, including Jim; only minutes later he would realize his mistake. I expect this to go quickly...I hope I'm wrong! | ||

Is Jim human? male? adult? Are the other three human? male? adult? Is the fifth human? male? adult? Did Jim know the other three? the 5th? Did the three know each other? the 5th? Do we need to find out the place where this happened? the country and town? the specific place? did this happen inside a building? How long was what seemed like an eternity: seconds? minutes? hours? days? longer? So Jim and the other three waited? Jim thought they waited for the same thing? but they waited for something else? did the three wait for the 5th person? did Jim wait in vain? did he have to wait even longer? Are these five people (or part of them) doing this as part of their job? as a leisure activity? as an activity of everyday life? | ||

ok, here's what I'm guessing, so hopefully I'm not completely off the mark! were they playing blackjack (also called 21)? did Ben tap the table in the blackjack game where tapping means "hit me" (give me another card)? was Jim a blackjack dealer? regular player? was Ben a blackjack dealer? regular player? did Jim think that Ben had gone over by the card that was played? I've only played a handful of times, so I'm not sure of all the "ins and outs" of the game... | ||

Hi to all! First post, first try: Jim and Ben are playing head-up Hold'Em; the other two "man" involved are two king (royalties) on the board. Jim has got two Aces in the hole, while Ben has got another K. Ben "slowplays" (shows weakness on a strong hand to confuse an opponent) his hand and checks(tapping his finger on the table),and on the 4th or 5th street another K comes, giving Jim the top full house. He doesn't suspect that Ben just made a poker, so he goes all-in and eventually lost everything. | ||
