Close your eyes? it makes no appreciable difference to the amount I can see whether I close them or keep them open. "Are we expecting a streaker to run through?" we - and I include myself here - can never be quite sure what to expect in a woubit Christmas puzzle. OK then... Frankincense... and myrrh? to offer have I? well, not quite, but close enough As you begin to sing the carol We Three Kings Of Orient Are, the room grows brighter. The reason for this is that a window opens high on a wall - far higher than you can reach - and the light of a single star illuminates your cell. As you have discovered, the cell is completely bare of furniture. Apart from the window, the only possible exit is a wooden door, which unfortunately is firmly locked. A single word is written on the door. At first, you believe it to be "Ethel", but on closer inspection it proves to be "Ezel". | ||

I was always intrigued as to how the blarney stone managed to be part of the stone of Scone whilst being made out of completely different material... The blarney stone is made out of bluestone, which is a sort of grey-ish colour - is any of this relevant? It is also built into a really inaccessible place in the walls of a castle (presumably so the locals get to laugh at tourists who go through the various contortions needed to kiss it) is that relevant? | ||

Unfortunately, they do not show any inclination to allow you to pass - instead, though the face of a giant cockroach is generally an inscrutable thing, you have the distinct impression that tearing you limb from limb is not far from uppermost in their thoughts.
