Did L get frostbitten while doing something stupid? something illegal? something generally frowned upon? Is it relevant on what part of her body she got frostbitten? The usual parts (ears, fingers, toes...)? Just some of the usual parts? Some other part? Did L get frostbitten due to being out in cold weather? due to some artificially refrigerated item or substance? Do L and her doctor have a relationship other than doctor/patient? | ||

Would she have been equally embarrassed to tell anyone else how she got frostbitten? (i.e., is there something in particular about the doctor? or was it just an embarrassing situation in general?) | ||

Leandra, who has about as much willpower as I do, couldn't resist eating the ice cream on her long commute home Lacking a fork or spoon, she used her fingers, which got frostbitten, & then she was embarrassed to tell her doctor how she got frostbitten. This is a true story, but, despite what you might reasonably suppose, it did not happen to me but to someone I read aboiut. Sorry it was so easy, but my new puzzle at the bottom of the page won't be--I hope. |
