Was she previously planning to buy the eggs? (i.e. not just an impulse buy}

Did she see or hear something that compelled her to buy the eggs, or made it seem like a good idea?

Did she forget something prior to this?

Lets recap with a few hints.

In a grocery store, a human adult female screams, and then begins loading eggs into her shopping cart. Her gender and age are irrelevant

She is not crazy, not hurt, and not on drugs. Something caused her to scream. This something is a big clue as to why she engaged in such actions. What other reason could have caused her to scream before loading up the eggs?

She is not screaming as the result of an emotion, person, or object, and she is not screaming at someone elese, but we know that she definitely screamed and others could hear it. She did not scream to get the attention of others. She forgot no task, event, or need prior to placing the eggs in the cart.

The eggs could easily be replaced by any item in the store, though she was not impulsively purchasing them. The number of eggs, day of the week, and time of the year is completely irrelevant to her actions

Could she just as well have screamed in an electronics store immediately before purchasing, for example, an iPod? in a shoe store before purchasing a pair of shoes? in any other type of store?

Could she have similarly screamed in a restaurant before ordering off the menu (aside from the fact this would probably make the waiter/waitress think she was nuts!)? in a library before selecting a book?

Are prices relevant?

***SPOILER****

The woman screamed and then began loading the eggs into her shopping cart because she had a complex partial seizure. Though her actions appeared purposeful on the outside, she was not in control of either the action of screaming or loading the eggs into her shopping cart

This puzzle is actually based on a true story. In this true version, the woman "woke" from a seizure, to discover she had been rearranging the egg cartons on the shelves in the grocery store and had put 10 cartons in her shopping cart. And she had a very angry manager standing next to her that wanted to know why she was messing around with his eggs.
