I didn't think it would be this easy, but my first puzzle was almost finished soon after I began on it. Why did this make me happy? |

Because you didn't really like it that much? And would now be able to replace it with another, better puzzle? |

Would this be your deadly threat puzzle? Were you worried it might have been considered a classic (which it wasn't by the way) and that you would get berated for posting an oldie? |

Is the LTPF relevant? Or is this some other puzzle you attempted like your first sudoku or crossword? |

Were you happy that you finished it quickly? Or just that you were going to be done? Were you rewarded in any way for completing the puzzle? Relevant where the puzzle came from? Was this the first jigsaw puzzle you ever completed? Is your age relevant? |

I am new to this,so please be patient as I learn how it works. Did you begin a crossword puzzle already started by someone else? Did you solve the clues that were left unfinished? So you were happy to have been better than the previous puzzler. |

Was it the first in a series of puzzles that you had to complete? Perhaps for a contest of some sort? Did this mean you could move on to the next one? Did you expect it to be harder? Wait, I just looked back at an earlier answer. Would it be correct to say you were not solving this puzzle (see response to Doctapeppa's post 1950)? Does that mean you were designing it? |

Was it the first in a series of puzzles that you had to complete? Perhaps for a contest of some sort? no to both Did this mean you could move on to the next one?Irr Did you expect it to be harder? yes Would it be correct to say you were not solving this puzzle (see response to Doctapeppa's post 1950)? Sorry for the ambiguity. It was a puzzle that I was completing. It was not a lateral puzzle that I was solving Does that mean you were designing it? I was not designing it Was it one of those jigsaws with a hidden clue to a story. A puzzle within a puzzle? no to both It was a jigsaw taht I was completing. I had expected it to be harder. There was some sort of reward for completing it. I believe you need to be wary of two false assumptions right now - one is about the kind of puzzle itself and the other is about the type of reward involved |

"The kind of puzzle itself"--meaning: How many pieces it had? What material the pieces were made of? What picture was on them (if any)? That this was a 3-D jigsaw puzzle? As for the type of reward involved, was it? Money? Winning a bet? A grade in a class? Something you learned from the completed picture on the puzzle? |

SPOILER Was it a 3D puzzle of an earth globe? This one works. The puzzle was finished quickly, had a use for my office, and impressed visitors. Another answer could have been any of the working clock puzzles |
