To keep this puzzle moving, I'll give a hint. Figure out cause of death. This puzzle should go very fast if you figure out the right things. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ask questions on this and my other puzzle, link above. They are unloved and it makes me sad. :[ |

Cause of death: Blood loss? Poisoning? Drowning? Asphixiation? Immolation? Damage to (or loss of) vital organs? Was it a suicide? If no, is it relevant who murdered him? Was he fictional? Does "name" in this puzzle refer to something other than one's legal given name? Oh, and sorry to be cheeky, but this is annoying me: it's "for all intents and purposes", not "for all intensive purposes". XP |

Cause of death: Blood loss? Poisoning? Drowning? This. Asphixiation? Immolation? Damage to (or loss of) vital organs? Was it a suicide? If no, is it relevant who murdered him? This, and yes, it is very relevant who murdered him. Was he fictional? Yes. Does "name" in this puzzle refer to something other than one's legal given name? Not really. Oh, and sorry to be cheeky, but this is annoying me: it's "for all intents and purposes", not "for all intensive purposes". XP Oh, I didn't know. Thanks for clearing it up. |

So no charges were pressed because he was fictional? Was his "murderer" his creator? Heh, yeah, it's a common mispelling. It's the opposite problem of when you read a word but have no idea how it's pronounced: I made a fool of myself for a long time by pronouncing ubiquitous as "oo-bee-KWEE-shus". -_- |

Is this character from: A book? A TV show? A movie? A comic? A cartoon? Advertisements? A game? In your hint you suggested we figure out the cause of death: were you referring to the drowning? Does "his creator "sort of" murdered him" mean that technically, the creator is at fault because he wrote it, but the literal murderer was another fictional character? |

Is this character from: A book? A TV show? A movie? A comic? A cartoon? Advertisements? A game? This. In your hint you suggested we figure out the cause of death: were you referring to the drowning? Yes. Does "his creator "sort of" murdered him" mean that technically, the creator is at fault because he wrote it FA, it's a game so it's not written., but the literal murderer was another fictional character? No. BIG HINT: The only way to die in this game is to drown or crash. |

Is a vehicle heavily featured in this game? (By "heavily featured" I mean, most of your time in the game is spent somehow interacting with a vehicle.) Does crash actually refer to crashing a vehicle? Is this a computer/console game? Board game? Is it a simulation game of any kind? Strategy? Puzzle? RPG? Action? Platformer? Online? Sport? I'll reword a previous question: does "his creator sort of murderered him" mean that the creator is at fault because he desgined the possibility of death, but wasn't the literal person who caused it? Was the player at fault for the death? Is this character the play-controlled character, or an NPC? |

Er, I don't know why my typing is so awful in the previous post. I meant "player-controlled" in the last sentence. Also "designed" instead of "desgined". |

you built a ride on roller coaster tycoon hoping it would crash in the water, it did and the news in the game reported it, no charges were pressed, right? |

Close enough. ********SPOILER******** In Roller Coaster Tycoon, a player has the option to grab a park guest with clippers and drop them wherever, mainly used for helping lost guests. I used it, however, to drop a park guest into the water, which prompted the message "Guest 216 has drowned!". THANKS EVERYONE WHO PLAYED, and grats to Anneja for solving the puzzle! |

I always like to put the significance of the title: Roller Coasters go up... then down. |
