Until yesterday, I had a scrund about heads. I bet some of you have it, too. What is it?

by 'heads' do you mean the part of the human body?

does the scrund relate to their anatomy? to the brain? to a particular part of the head? eyes? ears? face? nose? hair? mouth? the skin? blood vessels?

does it relate to injuries of the head? diseases? medical treatments?

does it relate to physical appearance? movement? size? shape? skin colour? weight? dimensions? relative dimensions? relationship to the rest of the body? its symmetry?

does it relate to the way the head functions?

does it relate to people's beliefs about the head? to religion? execution?

so this scrund is about the relationship of the head to the rest of the body? and about the way the head functions?

is the connection between the head and the rest of the body relevant? the physical connection? the neck specifically?

is it relevant that one side of the brain in some ways determines the action of the opposite side of the body?

is pain relevant?

the possible relevance of the skin - that it is continuous between the head and the body? that it connects the two?

does the scrund relate to similarities between the head and the body? or differences?

are muscles relevant? the angle of the head on the body? the fact that the head has to be continually held up by muscular effort rather than being balanced on the body?

are positions of the head relevant? facial expressions?

does the scrund relate to some way in which the head determines something about the body? the way the body reacts physically to thoughts?

are hormones relevant? growth? survival? the senses? amputations?

you said that the scrund relates to differences between the head and the body - is that correct? differences in the way they function?
was your scrund that there was a difference when in fact there was not? that there was not a difference when in fact there was?
are any movements of the body relevant? voluntary movements? involuntary?
are any of these relevant: hiccups? walking? digestion? the sensation of touch? the sensation of hearing? taste? sight? reflex actions? clothing? maintenance of body warmth?

is the scrund that a body loses a quarter (or a particular other amount) of its heat from the head - whereas in fact this is probably a great overestimate? (used by mothers to make their children and elderly parents wear hats)

************* SPOILER ****************

Until the day before I posted this puzzle, I believed that in cold weather, people lose 1/4 of their body heat through the head.Apparently, this is not true. Trust Clever Hannah (not only clever but a doctor) to solve this puzzle! Trust me to post a new puzzle at the bottom of the page!
