Is this hunter human? in real life (as opposed to a movie, video game, etc.)? Is the "firing" literal, i.e. the weapon is a firearm? or is it just something that goes off or is released suddenly? | ||

The hunter was near a snowy cliff. When he fired the gun, he “triggered” an avalanche which buried him… This is the classical solution. If yours is not an alternate one, I strongly suggest you start posting original puzzles as (trust me) we've heard 'em all. Sorry to anyone who didn't know this, but we'll have to be a bit ruthless with classics :-) | ||
