After having a go at some of your puzzles thought I'd pitch one of my own. Probably not particularly taxing but I feel I should start slowly! Hope you enjoy. I gave her a gift. He called the police. No I fear this may not have been as good a puzzle as I had hoped – many of the key points have already been identified. Guess I need some practise devising them! It has everything to do with that! ******************** SPOILER ******************** Indeed, the word "gift" is German for poison - that was what I gave to her, and not a gift as we typically understand it in English (ie. a present) Thanks for taking part guys, and I hope I can come up with some better puzzles in future.
