Does it means he doesn't need any of the object? or He doesn't "believe or dunno how to decide" in any of the object? Do we need to know what animal it is? Are the objects solid, liquid or gas? metal or non-metal? living or dead? malleable? man-made or natural? |

A belated welcome to the forum, Bellstrom! Please put your username in the titles of your puzzles; I got it this time. =) Is he meant to choose between the objects? Or choose between using them and not? Is this an animal that we usually consider "intelligent" (primate, dolphin, crow, etc.)? Is the use of tools relevant? Is this animal being observed by humans? Is he in captivity? Are the "neither" things man-made? |

Maxwong Does it means he doesn't need any of the object? one of them is thisish or He doesn't "believe or dunno how to decide" in any of the object? this is also close, but neither are exactly correct Do we need to know what animal it is? yes, definitely Are the objects solid, liquid or gas? metal or non-metal? living or dead? malleable? man-made or natural? It's hard to answer this. Honestly, the "object" portion of it is only partly an actual object. But, solid, non-metal (probably), dead, the object itself is malleable, and man-made Gourami A belated welcome to the forum, Bellstrom! Hah, thanks. Please put your username in the titles of your puzzles; I got it this time. =) Sorry about that. I don't know how I forgot it. Is he meant to choose between the objects? no, and there's an FA here Or choose between using them and not? yesish, but there's still an FA lurking Is this an animal that we usually consider "intelligent" (primate, dolphin, crow, etc.)? probably not Is the use of tools relevant? yesish to one of them Is this animal being observed by humans? could have been once Is he in captivity? probably not Are the "neither" things man-made? one is, yes |

Is the phrase: "Nothing's certain but death and taxes" relevant? I'm still confused about what kind of animal he is. He's thisishly a fish, but he's only about the size of a fruit fly. But he's not a sea monkey, amoeba, or plankton. Is he a baby fish? If he's not actually a fish, in what ways is he like a fish...he's in the ocean? He swims? He's an animal? Or an animal-like protist? He's shaped like a fish? Other? |

He's thisishly a fish, but he's only about the size of a fruit fly. But he's not a sea monkey, amoeba, or plankton. Is he a baby fish? noish If he's not actually a fish, in what ways is he like a fish...he's in the ocean? yes He swims? yes He's an animal? and yes Or an animal-like protist? He's shaped like a fish? Other? no to rest Mackadal Is he that type of jellyfish that can technically never die? That's the one, so this warrants a... *** SPOILER *** There is a saying that goes something like "Nothing is certain except death and taxes." The Immortal Jellyfish is a very small jellyfish (about 5mm long) that, true to it's name, has the capability of immortality. It can revert to its infant form basically at will, thereby extending its life. Being that it is an animal, and therefore not subject to taxes, and also immortal, the Immortal Jellyfish is not certain of either death or taxes. |
