Probably everyone who ate pickles produced by the Budlong Pickle Company died, but no legal actions have ever been made against them for these deaths. Why? This should be a fairly easy one. | ||

Did they die from eating the pickles? Or did the Budlong Pickle Company go out of business so long ago, that the last person to eat their pickles has probably died of old age by now? | ||

I'm assuming they did not die because they ate the pickles, correct? Is the answer simply that the pickle company went out of existence/business over 100 years ago, so there are probably no surviving customers today? | ||
