Sometimes, when I don't have the time, I japer. Certain people japer a lot, and others never japer at all. What is the meaning of the verb "to japer"? |

Don't have the time = don't have enough time? Do you japer to save time? To make time? Do you do it instead of doing something that takes more time? Is japering doing something halfway? Or half-assed? Or is not having the time = not knowing what time of day it is? If so, is japering estimating the time? Asking for the time? Deducing the time from the position of the sun? from something else that's happening? |

Do you post snippets from a walkthrough hosted somewhere else? Not snippets; I post the whole thing! Or links to them? Or does the forum thread contain the walkthrough? Yet another **********SPOILER********** To japer is to copy and paste a walkthrough from another site onto a game forum (or the like) instead of taking the time to write one yourself. What's really annoying is when people japer and claim the walkthrough as their own. I have some rules I use when japering: credit the original author and source, clarify when needed, proofread first and edit bad spelling (etc), and don't japer if you have the time to write one yourself. And the genre? Escape-the-room games, and sometimes other point-and-click adventure games. Nice job again, Galfisk; I'm running low on new puzzles now. |
