Relevant how many are "they"? more than 10? than 50? than 100? than 1000? Are they protesting in the streets? In a square? In front of some official building (government, parliament, etc.)? In a stadium? Or are they indoor? Relevant the exact place? Any "known" sport competition relevant? Olympics? World cup? The "yopishly" involved sport: soccer? Basketball? Bolleyball? Tennis? Baseball? Hockey? Football? Motoring? Is this a real story? FYOI? FSEI? |

Ha, are they vuvuzelas? :-) Is this the only link between the puzzle and the sport field? Or is there something else? (I'm figuring 200 persons using vuvuzelas to protest against no matter what, must be really annoying...) |

That's the only link to sports (I'm figuring 200 persons using vuvuzelas to protest against no matter what, must be really annoying...) And since that was the lateral part... **********SPOILER********** On July 13 this past year, 100 people (I just looked that up) descended on BP's London headquarters, armed only with vuvuzelas, to protest the company's handling of the Gulf oil spill. Now, with 100 people armed with vuvuzelas, I'm sure they accomplished their goal - both getting the message out, and annoying BP. Kudos go to Mattiel, who solved this, and to La_sparky and Jenburdoo, who asked good questions as well. |
