In the movie they do carry guns, but they have an exaggerated size barrel (almost like a gun with a tin can attached at the end of the barrel) A knife (taking a STAB at this one)? Yes * * SPOILER * * Poor Matt is simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. He and his 2 friends are on the way to a Star Wars convention and decide to stop for snacks at a convenience store. They randomly choose Matt, a "little person" who is dressed as a Jawa to go in to buy the snacks. None of them are aware that stores in the area have recently been robbed at gunpoint by a short person wearing a brown hooded coat similar to the one Matt is wearing as a makeshift Jawa outfit. Even though the gun he's carrying doesn't look realistic, the overly cautious customers pounce on him immediately due to the "Be On Lookout" notice posted at the store with a sketch of a man in a brown hooded coat. "Luke" and "Boba", who are waiting outside in the car, see the notice at the same time they see their friend get jumped on, and reason that it probably would have been better to send Boba in. Nice work - may the Force be with you! | ||

Side note - although I've never been to a Star Wars convention, or dressed up in a Star Wars costume (man, have I been missing out), this very well could have been me, as I am pretty darn short. (Shortest guy in my class from 1st through 12th grade...yeah.) |
