I had last seen those two together seven years ago, though they never spoke a word to each other. I never expected to hear them together again, nor to hear his lady's father join them. |

"those two": H? A? M? Are they real people? Fictional? In a portrait? On an album? "His lady" = his wife? Mother? |

Those two H/A/M? Well, as real people, they are. HINT: They portrayed fictional characters twice that I saw. The first time, seven years ago, one was H/A/M, the other was not-exactly-H, but was A/M. The second time, they were not-H and one was A/M, the other was T/M. "His lady" refers to 2nd real H/A/M, who portrayed first H/A/M then not-H but T/M. The "lady" was portrayed H/A/M's eventual wife, (as a character) but her real father is the one mentioned. I'm trying not to be confusing...oh well, lol. |

Good catch: they are EXTREMELY relevant, as are movies in general. (Please, please do not use IMDb unless absolutely necessary, as it will blow the whole thing wide open) |

All right.... Are all three movies relevant? FOTR? TTT? ROTK? Are the LOTR characters from "the first time" you saw them? The "second time"? Had you seen them together in another movie? In person? |

All three LotR movies are relevant...I saw ROTK in the theater and then watched FOTR and TTT one after the other on DVD at my dad's house. This was "the first time" I saw them. The "second time" was just yesterday, in another movie. |

So we are looking for two male actors who are in all three of the LOTR movies...is this correct? Does either of the actors portray a member of the Fellowship? Do both of them? Does either one portray a villain? Both? |

No, sorry for the FA. They're not in all three of the LotR movies, but they are both in them. I don't think they were ever in the same scenes. Neither portrayed a member of the Fellowship, or a villain...at least, they weren't supposed to, but if you ask me, PJ made them both more villain-ish than they ever were in canon. *glares at him* |

Faramir is the H/A/M from LotR who portrayed a T/M (not H) more recently. Very good! Other three irrelevant. |

Elrond indeed, Balin! Sorry, Ixoye, Balin got there first this time =) Faramir and Elrond are the two LotR characters in question. Liv Tyler has naught to do with this puzzle, alas. |

So you saw the two actors together in a movie that just came out, correct? (Unfortunately I don't watch too many movies these days....) Is it an animated movie? Action? Drama? Romance? Comedy? Thriller? |

Drama?Or maybe this Romance? Not this Comedy? Comedic characters were included, but I wouldn't call it this Thriller? Some scenes reminded me of this |

Yes! =D Finally! Yes, I saw "Legend of the Guardians" with my dad yesterday. It had Hugo "Elrond" Weaving, David "Faramir" Wenham, and Barry Otto (Miranda "Eowyn" Otto's father) in it. Hugo Weaving was two characters, David Wenham was a young owl, and Barry Otto was a hedgehog. And that's the ***SPOILER!*** |

The movie was most awesome! There were a few factual inaccuracies about the relative size of male owls to females (female raptors are always larger, but they made the males larger) but other than that, I loved it! And I loved David as Faramir, so hearing his voice again...yes, awesome. *grin* |

And Barry Otto was an *echidna*, not a hedgehog. So I can't tell the difference...they're both spiny, lol. |
