Did a door handle catch your belt loop (hey, I manage to get my sleeve caught by the door handle in my apartment all the time when I wear a T-shirt, so I guess this can happen to belt loops as well, and yes, I am that short)? Exactly! Or was it something pointy that got stuck in either part of your pants? *****SPOILER***** My height means that the door handles in my apartment line up exactly with the belt loops on my pants. It doesn't help that the handles have the ideal shape for hooking the loops, so this happens a few times a month. Usually I notice and unhook myself, but this time I was in a hurry and ripped out the loop. The fabric was weaker than the tack, so now there's a small hole where the lower end of the loop used to sit. Anyone who's about 6 foot tall (sorry but I can only think in Feet & Inches) is prone to that problem. I tend to get my pockets caught in door handles.
