If I had been just a little taller, or just a little shorter, my pants wouldn't have a hole in them. |

Size of the hole relevant? Is the size closer to a... pin head? fingernail? coin? underside of a beverage can? palm of hand? something larger? Did you intentionally cut/tear the hole into your pants? Did someone else do it? Was it caused by friction against the floor/wall/something else? Did your pants get caught by something such as a branch? Are you... < 150 cm? 150 - 159 cm? 160 - 169 cm? 170 - 179 cm? 180 - 189 cm? 190 - 199 cm? 200 - 209 cm? 210 - 220 cm? > 220 cm? Did it happen during an everyday activity? Did you just walk somewhere? Did you try to reach something or hold on something? Did you fall? |

Did it happen indoors? Outdoors? Did a door handle catch your belt loop (hey, I manage to get my sleeve caught by the door handle in my apartment all the time when I wear a T-shirt, so I guess this can happen to belt loops as well, and yes, I am that short)? Or was it something pointy that got stuck in either part of your pants? |

Don't worry, Potato; I am that short too. Was the object a nail? |

Exactly! Or was it something pointy that got stuck in either part of your pants? *****SPOILER***** My height means that the door handles in my apartment line up exactly with the belt loops on my pants. It doesn't help that the handles have the ideal shape for hooking the loops, so this happens a few times a month. Usually I notice and unhook myself, but this time I was in a hurry and ripped out the loop. The fabric was weaker than the tack, so now there's a small hole where the lower end of the loop used to sit. |

Nice one. Anyone who's about 6 foot tall (sorry but I can only think in Feet & Inches) is prone to that problem. I tend to get my pockets caught in door handles. |
