I say that he comes from a certain country. You'd probably say that he comes from a different country. Actually, we're both right. Who is he and where is he from? |

Country = location on earth? Mythical location outside the earth? If location on earth, used the country to be called somehow different at another time in earth's history? (Like coming from France could mean coming from the Roman Empire at some point in time)? He comes = his story has origins there? |

Danish? Ja, den svenske kok er danks i Tyskland (which is Danish for "Yes, the Swedish chef is Danish in Germany"). Nice solve, Kaylee, and nice work everyone else. Here's the ********SPOILER******** In the German version of The Muppet Show, the Swedish Chef is called "der dänische Koch" which translates as the Danish Chef. As most LTPF members are not from Germany, they probably know him as the Swedish Chef, whereas I'd say he's from Denmark. |

maybe it has something to do with the fact that there are pastry chefs, and danishes are pastries, but there are no pastries called swedish? (I don't think so, anyway?) There are Swedish Fish however. Those are candies, not pastries...I am not fond of them. Their texture is similar to gummy bears, only inedible. More like what our British friends call "wine gums" only even tougher than those. Meh. Kaylee kitteh preferz kaseburgurz. |
