A beret? A beanie? Not these If not, Is it a hat with a rigid shape? soft flexible shape? Sometimes conical but in this case, cylindrical Is it felted? looks like it might be made from yarn? Would you wear it during a particular season? for a particular event? I wouldn't wear it, lol...but certain people do wear them for various reasons. Only one person who wore it is relevant. Is there a particular decade relevant? 2010 A particular country or other geographic location? The UK is relevant, but it's not a hat typical of the UK... |

Top hat? No... Nononocheck that...is it - wait for it - the FEZ? YES! If not that, a Stetson? No, lol. Good enough for me! ***SPOILER*** In the episode "The Big Bang", the second part of the two-part ending to the most recent season of Doctor Who, the Eleventh Doctor acquires a fez briefly. When he joins up with his companion, Amy Pond, and friend River Song outside, this exchange takes place: River Song: Just one question. What in the name of sanity...*turns to The Doctor*...have you got on your head? Eleven: It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezes are cool. Amy: *grabs the fez off the Doctor's head and throws it into the air* River Song: *pulls out her gun and shoots the fez into oblivion* Then, me and other fans watching: NOOOOO! THE FEZ!!!!!!! But...fezes are cool!!! :-( |

Oh...and I forgot that The Doctor's other companion, Rory (Amy's fiance) was there too, lol. Go figure. Well, to be fair, when he's standing next to Matt in a FEZ, he's slightly forgettable. The fez isn't. Fezes are cool. :-D |
