Should he have been charged?Well, as he is an animal (see below), it would be rather silly to do so.

He: H?No A?Assume yes. M?Assume yes.
Is his profession relevant?FA age?No, FA to rest. hobby? race? religion?
Charged by somebody else?Yes by more than one person?Irrel. by law enforcement?Presumably

Devourment: eating? Food involved? Animals? Is anyone's life in danger at any point? This gets an incredibly rare (in these parts) "Yes to all".

Is a joke relevant?Yesish A pun?Yesish A mondegreen?No

Actually, upon further thought I do not know whether the animal was wild or in captivity. Knowing where this took place would probably make it clear, though I didn't actually read the full story. But in any case, the animal was "on the loose" when it attacked.

To all rest, remember I said I would know these if I had read the story. I could try and find it again if you wish... but the fact that I didn't need to know all this to make the puzzle should be a hint.

But the one in this puzzle happened only a few days before I posted it.

Hint: The details of the tiger attack are irrelevant, so to save you trouble I'll just say that a woman somewhere saved her husband from being attacked by a tiger. But there is another recent event that is also relevant to this puzzle.

Tiger Woods?Yes! Now the solution is close...

**********************RECAP******************

I read about two events the day I posted this puzzle. In one, a woman saved her husband from being attacked by a tiger. In another, Tiger Woods was disciplined for something. Somehow, a connection appeared to exist between these events.

Sex? Cheating on his wife? Ooh, so the woman was faithful to her husband by saving him from the tiger but Tiger was unfaithful to his wife by cheating on her with 17 other women?

Spitting on the green?Yes

Sex? Cheating on his wife? No, these happened long before the relevant story, which Balin identified. Ooh, so the woman was faithful to her husband by saving him from the tiger but Tiger was unfaithful to his wife by cheating on her with 17 other women? No, and this kind of connection is OTWT.

It happened in Malaysia - relevant? No to both. I didn't even know these were true, as I never actually read the news story.

Did you simply pun "tiger attack" with "Tiger attack"? And that Mr. Woods' reprimand should have been for attacking the guy?

Did you simply pun "tiger attack" with "Tiger attack"? And that Mr. Woods' reprimand should have been for attacking the guy?Noish, but OTRT. The wording of the two headlines (and the order in which they appeared) is relevant to how I confused "tiger" with "Tiger".

Did the two headlines appeared together like a whole?
The first headline, was it like: "tiger attacks a man" or rather like "brave woman saves her man from tiger attack"?

I assume that the "Tiger" of Tiger Woods was the first word in that headlie so you didn't give the capital T any significance?

"Tiger disciplined for spitting.."?
