[dbw] am I doing this right?

Was either loss (or both losses) due to an accidental injury? by an assault by another person? Or am I making a FA, and he was born blind? but could somehow use his legs to read anyway? No Or am I making a FA, (What's that, faulty assumption??) and he was born blind? He was not born blind. but could somehow use his legs to read anyway? He never used his leg[s] to read. Dbw (Dbw) New member Username: Dbw Post Number: 19 Registered: 6-2011 Posted on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 - 12:41 am:        Yay, Potato got it! ******SPOILER******* The man has Type 1 diabetes; this caused him to lose his sight (retinopathy) and the feeling in his fingers (neuropathy), rendering him unable to read even in Braille. He lost the leg due to diabetes (ulcers) as well. The moral of the story is, Type 1 diabetes totally sucks. I don't think it was too easy. Nice bit of lateral thought required to get that his blindness and one-legged-ness were connected. Sometimes puzzles go fast around here not because they are too easy, but because the members here are tenacious and quite clever! I think that this was a very neat little puzzle and I'm surprised by how quickly this went. Don't get to down about puzzles getting solved quickly on this forum . Some of my ones that I thought were most fiendish were solved in jig time whilest others which I thought would be quickies took ages to solve. A big welcome to the forum. You'll like it here. I'm tempted to throw a few problems out there, myself, but I'm going to keep reading for a week or so before I find the courage. Or maybe the cussedness.
