Iz cannot haz cheezburgur?! *horrified* That wasn't what she told him - although it wouldn't have hurt him to go on a diet! All "she"s the same? She = H? A? F? Yes to all. Cat - M? This, but not really relevant. F? Was she being cruel to the cat? No, although he might have felt differently. |

Did she tell her cat to do something? Or did she describe her cat? Or state some sort of fact? "Stepped over the line" as in she spoiled her cat? or tried to have a conversation with him? Was she an avid cat-lover? Did she literally step over a line? |

"Stepped over the line" as in she spoiled her cat? Yessish, IMHO. or tried to have a conversation with him? but more this. Was she an avid cat-lover? Well, not a multiple-cat person, but fairly dotty about this one. Did she literally step over a line? No |

One big kitteh! did she tell he cat he couldn't do something? couldn't have something? Yes to both did she tell him to stop doing something? Yes! did she tell her cat how she felt about him? Did she ask her cat something? Advice? Did she talk about other cats? No to all of these. Did she tell her cat he couldn't do something other cats were allowed to do? In a well-ordered houshhold, cats would not be allowed to do this. In fact, it is behavior more often found in dogs. That's a hint! Stepped over the line: morally? Legally? Sanity-wise? yessish to the last. |

When dogs do this, is the owner usually embarrassed?depends on the owner. Maybe "annoyed" would be the word. Some owners actually encourage it. |

it to do with eating?b{Yes!} like eating off huma's plates?yope eating at the table? yope eating food which would not normally be given to a cat?yope stealing food? No; he didn't actually steal anything. licking her face? no jumping up at people? No. We used to have a cat who would jump up on your shoulder when you were sitting. We thought that was cute and encouraged it. Unfortunately, she would also try it when you were standing, but couldn't quite make it. It's something of a shock to find a 5-lb cat attached to you at waist level. However, n.r. pawing at people? no making a lot of noise? no sleeping on the bed? no Begging? YES. Most cats have too much dignity to beg. They just take what they want! It was how she reacted to this begging that indicated she had "crossed the line." |

Did she say something along the lines of... "Don't beg" or "Beggars can't be choosers" or something? That was the general idea, but it was how she phrased it that struck me. Did she scold him? Yes Mock him? Or tell him what to do in the future? No to these. Did she say something about other dogs? No, but maybe she should have. "Clarence, you're as bad as a dog!" or beggars? No |

"Finish your vegetables. Then you can have dessert." "You'll have to wait until suppertime. You know we eat as a family." "I'm not making two separate meals. You'll eat what I give you." "I don't mind sharing, but get a separate plate." "When are YOU going to make a meal for ME?" Did she expect that the cat (Clarence the Cat?) would be eating "human" food? |

"I don't mind sharing, but get a separate plate." "When are YOU going to make a meal for ME?" lol, but none of these Did she expect that the cat (Clarence the Cat?) would be eating "human" food? We were having a hearty stew - I expect he would have loved it. I should probably $poyle this, but I'm enjoying the words you are putting in her mouth too much! Free clue: She addressed Clarence as if he had human attributes. |

mental attributes? physical attributes? For your amusement (or to guess the puzzle): "Eat your stew. It will put color in your cheeks!" "Make a 'happy plate'!" "No talking with food in your mouth." "You must eat the carrots. They will make you big and strong." "I will cook if you will do dishes." "Clarence, guests first. You'll have your turn in a minute." "Don't chew with your mouth open." "Um... are you gonna eat that?" A window to my childhood mealtimes...XD |

Exactly! Are paws mentioned? Hands? Arms? Elbows? Does it begin with Don't or Never? ***************SPOILER************** She said: "Clarence, get your hands off the table." Not feet, not paws - hands! Disclaimer: She is really quite sane about most things non-feline. A cheezburgr to Quovynyte, and a can of Fancy Feast to everyone who took part!
