And with that, I think we'll call the puzzle solved! ********SPOILER********** True story (or so I've been told): He is a surviving soldier who had taken part in a special assignment during World War II. After the war, a movie is made about the assignment. He sees the movie, and it is fairly accurate. However, the movie is later remade by a larger, more commercial production company. They feel the story is lacking something, so they make some alterations to the script, including one of the main characters being shot and killed in the film's climax. The ex-soldier is invited to the premiere, but nobody's told him that he will be killed in this version. Very much alive as he is, he is, naturally, somewhat surprised to witness his own on-screen "death". Guess it wasn't all that hard, but hey! First one! Thanks for playing! | ||
