H they are not (at least on the outside) A...well, most, I think some were childs (Children, I know, is the proper word, But that didn't rhyme, though it looks absurd) Males were there most, but a few females too, And they vanished sometime in the 90's, in CA, it's true. They might still appear in FL, I don't know... But it was in the 70's there that my mom got their audio... | ||

They sing, and play instruments, 'live' and on tape, One place I see them still is my "It Takes Me Back..." escape; They're finished, I think, in the first 'land was their home, Second, not sure, it they may yet roam. I've no concrete idea how they do overseas, But I think that in France they might be able to please. So far as I know, it's been the same members forever, But all of them are now missed, at least on West Coast that I remember. | ||

But sad to say, they've gone from CA And only a restaurant's there at the stage they did play. They did have a movie about them it's true, Made since their disappearance, so I feel less blue. That's been on TV, and so was their stage But they didn't have a regular show centered on them anyway. They were around at least 40 years ago, But when they vanished from CA was 90's or so. Focus on the states of Gold and Sunshine Think what they have in common, and you might win this rhyme. | ||

Country Bears they were, indeed yes, Though it was in my mind, I confess To make you seek out the name Of this show of great fame, I'll finish this all, and end the quest. The Country Bear Jamboree was the name, Big Al was a big bear of great fame; Henry was there, you see, Trixie and others to please Liver Lips McGrowl had a peculiar face, Hence his name (no disgrace) Just an oddity, see... The next summer I decided To take some college classes I met a young technician- A handsome man with glasses. The man was smart and charming, although a little shy. He obsessed over his every move (and frankly, so did I!) The week I'd gone to Disney, This man had been there too! Oh, how much fun we could have had If only then we knew! A few short years later On the third of January We pleged our hearts in a little church And happily did marry! We want to go back to Disney And we will- I do not doubt it And if we see the bears again, I'll tell you all about it! | ||
