Are all "he"s the same? I = you, Amu? Did you realize he had the scrund because of his statement? Before his statement? Was the statement a reaction to your realization? |

Are all "he"s the same? Yes I = you, Amu? Yes, it's me Did you realize he had the scrund because of his statement? This is what I meant, excuse my bad English! Before his statement? Was the statement a reaction to your realization? Also: this is a hypothetical conversation that never happened, but could have happened, as many people seem to have this scrund, and the something about me is true. |

Is this problem the result of an injury? genetics? something else? Could it be from something different in another person (for example, deafness can be hereditary or caused by injury)? |

Does it affect your ability to move about? Your speaking ability? writing ability? (e.g. dyslexia - can't be that though.) No, it shouldn't affect any of these, but... do you have a neurological disorder of any kind? It is not a neurological disorder, it was just that at epilepsy it was getting a bit warmer than the other listed illnesses non-epileptic seizures? No seizures involved I have epilepsy myself...no picnic, but hey, it's all I know, so that's life =) no wishing for 'normal' when I can't remember having it. A very good view on life :-) To Kaylee (and anyone else interested): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9t7E4amWDqI This song says the same thing in a funny way. You just got to get past the guy talking for the first couple minutes. Love it! And the links lead to interesting places... gotta love the internet Is this problem the result of an injury? No genetics? Some think genetics is involved, but further research is needed... something else? Could it be from something different in another person (for example, deafness can be hereditary or caused by injury)? Some indeed say this is the case |

OCD? This! counting? panic attacks? phobia? PTSD? I have OCD. I have learnt to hide it well over the years, so most people in my surroundings don't know about it. When someone does find out, knowing me they are quite surprised to learn I have OCD, because they have a common scrund about people with OCD. What is it? |

counting? Forgot to add: counting is indeed somewhat relevant to the puzzle, hence the title - but the scrund is not about counting |

Yes, I do, and this is relevant and your friend thinks that 'u of all people' should be able to balance your checkbook? or something similar? :D No. In fact he was surprised the other way around - he didn't know I had OCD, but he knew me well, and when he found out that I have OCD, he couldn't believe it based on his knowledge of me - why? |

Are you a messy person? Yes, this is it! A lot of people think that those with OCD are extremely tidy all the time. This isn't always the case. *******************SPOILER****************** Many people think - maybe because of what they have seen in movies - that having OCD means being excessively orderly, always involving obsessive cleaning and tidying. As I am quite erm... relaxed about my things and the tidiness of my room, my desk etc, my friends often cannot believe that I could have OCD. Actually it takes many forms and mine mostly involves automatically arranging everything into groups of four and counting them. When I was a child I had many other compulsions and they caused me many problems, but now it is much better, though when I'm anxious I do catch myself counting things, but I can usually stop. Thanks for everyone, I guess it wasn't too hard, but it was fun to come up with a scrund! |
