Is the object involved related to personal hygiene? If so- -soap? -deodorant? -toothpaste? -toothbrush? -hairbrush? -hair care product? -skin care product? -sponge/loofah? -tissues, cotton balls, or the like? -tweezers? -shaving products? This isn't a complete list, but perhaps I've gotten close. |

Is the action actually brushing one's teeth? Or is it using a toothbrush for something it wasn't designed for? Could this work with electric toothbrushes? |

Is the action actually brushing one's teeth? I don't think so, but if that was involved, it would just add to the grossness. Or is it using a toothbrush for something it wasn't designed for? Yope Could this work with electric toothbrushes? Yes |

Cleaning the grout around the bathroom tiles? Or could it be using the toothbrush for something not considered nasty, but nevertheless not hygenic, e.g. cleaning fruit before eating it? |

Here's something i've seen my kids do .... When brushing their teeth little blobs of toothpaste become stuck to the sink and to remove them they brush at them with their toothbrush. Is it this or something similar? |

***** SPOILER ***** The puzzle statement refers to the habit of Spark Brushel, one of the witnesses in the Ace Attorney DS games, of carrying a toothbrush with him wherever he goes and cleaning various parts of his body with it - but ironically not his teeth (I've never played the particular game he's in, so I can only tell from his GIF sheet how far it goes). |
