Sheesh, nobody seems to know any idioms about mules. It's true, I've only heard this one from older, "country" people, so I suppose it was too difficult, or esoteric, or something. So, here is the ***************SPOILER************** I've heard people say, "So-and-so doesn't have the sense God gave a mule," which is nonsense. Neither God nor natural selection gave a mule anything - it's a human invention. And mules are pretty smart, anyway. | ||
