I think they go by how old you _really_ are, not the birthdays, as my neighbor has been able to buy drinks for some time. | ||

If so, is it relevant that people there who were born February 28 legally have their birthdays on March 1 in non-leap years? In Europe, I believe it's February 28? Is it something you can only buy when you're above a certain age? Alcohol? Cigarettes? New York had a special election on February 28, 2006. I recently contacted the Board of Elections because I was curious if people born on Leap Day 1988 could vote. They couldn't. | ||
