This is my first rulebreaker. It's not a CA, although I definitely expect CAs. Any questions you don't want answered according to the rules should be posted in italics. I'll start this off: Kokopelli's Flute by Will Hobbs? Money or meat, doesn't matter to me. Feel free to make early guesses! |

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll? An adventure for sure. The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats? Snowy days are cold, that's why I have a sleeping bag. One More River to Cross by Walter Dean Myers? No, he was by the river, not across it. The Riddle of the Sands by Erskine Childers? Childers is right. Or should I say children... Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney? But she didn't have to guess! Nathan's Run by John Gilstrap? Running for sure Nostromo by Joseph Conrad? CA Oh, The Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss? She couldn't have known where she would go. Rats Saw God by Rob Thomas? Cats catch mice and rats! As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner? VERY appropriate. I approve. Amazing Grace by Mary Hoffman? The feast was very graceful. Kyeannpepper? CA LTPF? CA Barbecued chicken feet? I don't think they had chicken. Western diamondback rattlesnake? POISON!!! AHHH!! That time I tricked my youngest sister into believing that she had been adopted and then she wouldn't believe me when I told her that I actually had been? Oh, the beautiful flower...alongside the less beautiful one. -Is this a true story? |

Yes. After an hour or so of my merciless teasing, my mother told her that she had not been adopted. I felt a little bad because I had upset her, so I added, "It would be OK if you had been. After all, I was adopted." I thought she knew- it wasn't a secret by the time she was born. But she didn't know, and she thought I was trying to trick her again. As to the puzzle, are we talking about a single situation? For instance, one involving a sleeping bag, children, and running? |

Kaylee, I'm going to answer all the rulebreaker ones first, then the italics ones. CA Depends on how you do it. CA Hi Kye. Black and white. SUGAR!!!!! Very. Umm...referring you to a different branch. CA Because he didn't. Duh. I would say so! Exactly. So don't worry about it. Them, apparently. The truth is a twisted thing. I suppose he was. Isn't there always? Oh yes. Dun dun duhhhh... On to those italic questions. Yes, it is. Yes I am! I wasn't always, though. Yez, I can haz cheezburgur! Kayleekitteh can haz cheezburgur tu! Not really. One song might help, but don't focus on that. As you can see, it's annoying, but I can deal with it easily. No problem, silliness excused. How was the the show? |

Eliyahu Ha'Navi and Wang Lung are actually men's names. Eliyahu Ha'Navi is a prophet in the Bible and Wang Lung is the star of the book The Good Earth. Also, Squanto and Samoset are male Native Americans (the same one, I think). Does this change those answers |

*****************SPOILER***************** In this rulebreaker, I had to be able to associate the question with the Hunger Games book directly. So, for a question of z?, I couldn't answer by thinking "z is a letter, so is k, and Katniss begins with k". But I could answer k by thinking "Katniss begins with k". On the snowy day one, I sorta explained the step, because I wasn't sure if it counted as one post or two. I also had a rule that the answer I gave had to be in some way related to the part of Hunger Games that I associated it with. I decided to spoil this today because I am seeing the movie today! Also, the relevance of the title: My youth group is called "Seventh and Eighth Graders Following the Way", or SEGWay, most of the time. But I did SEGFW instead. Great job, everyone! Now check out my new puzzle you know where! |
