When the merchant put some a particular sort of sale, he used a common but particularly inappropriate slogan. What was it??

When you say inappropriate, do you mean sexually suggestive/containing nonsexual profanity/racist/misogynist?

Is it a literal human merchant, an item actually being offered in exchange for cash, and a slogan written in the English language?

So the slogan is merely inappropriate for the item being sold?

Would this item be most likely bought in a:
Grocery store?
Furniture store?
Hardware store?
clothing store?
Jewelers?
other? (Is there a LTPF list of stores?)

Did he try to make a play on words? Did he unintentionally make a play on words that could be inappropriate?

is it a cheezburgur? =)

apologies for the obsession, but, well, you know how I am, Nimue. Also, I'm still feeling tired from the seizure I had the other night, so my questions aren't going to be particularly sensible, I'm afraid =(

*hopes I can stay awake this afternoon, as my mum and I are watching Mary Poppins on stage*

apologies for the obsession As the Julie in my puzzle "Lonely Death" says in the sequel to the short story that's the basis for the puzzle, "An obsession is a strong interest someone disapproves of.", but, well, you know how I am, Nimue. Also, I'm still feeling tired from the seizure I had the other night I hope that Medi-Cal isn't giving you trouble about your medication again, so my questions aren't going to be particularly sensible, I'm afraid =(

well, woubit of woubits, inc., pedants to the gentry, probably disapproves of kitteh-ness and cheezburgurz, considering it butchers the English language. and some others have remarked that it's hard to read =( no, Medi-Cal hasn't been an issue lately, thankfully - knock on wood. Also, Mary Poppins was excellent - my mum was the one needing poking to stay awake =P

is the food bread/grain? meat? dairy? fruit? vegetable? other? some combination? would it primarily be eaten as breakfast? lunch? dinner? dessert? a snack? for tea? is it tea?

does the slogan mention the name of the fruit?

Was it inappropriate because it implies the fruit are undesirable in some way? Because it contains an accidental pun? Was it a misused idiom? Does it include the word 'fruit'? 'Apples'? Is the slogan a description? A command to the reader?

I take it my previous question(?) was so off the mark it didn't deserve a no!
