She opened the door, and scream, and cry Having spotted the murder with her eye. But then she quickly understood That what she saw was for her good. What did she saw, what happened - please tell Rhyme questions if you like - that would do well. |

"Murder", you wrote - was she actually right? Or did she rely too much on her eyesight? I assume she was human, and adult - and a girl, and that all of this story takes place in our world? So did she benefit from this tragedy in some way, make money, revenge or did not have to pay some sum that she owed to the one that was killed - or perhaps now a secret would not be revealed? |

Jondahr: "Murder", you wrote - was she actually right? Or did she rely too much on her eyesight? She was not right, I just can say That she made typical FA. I assume she was human, and adult - and a girl, and that all of this story takes place in our world? And correct your assumptions are, You're right with all guesses, so far. So did she benefit from this tragedy in some way, make money, revenge or did not have to pay some sum that she owed to the one that was killed - or perhaps now a secret would not be revealed? Knowing now what you have revealed, These guesses get a "no", but still Keep guessing, as I count on you, You will discover what is true. |

Did she think a person dead? Or perhaps an animal instead? Was there a body there at all? Perhaps someone had had a fall? |

Did she believe that she saw the body, or the murder itself, or some hands that were bloody? Was the door that of a house, leading inside? Or into a cupboard where one could hide? Or a door between rooms, or - if we turn it about - the front door again, only leading her out? Did she spot the murder when she opened the door? Or had she seen it a little while before, through a window perhaps, or maybe on a screen? There has to be something through which this was seen! |

The obvious questions be permitted: Was there any crime committed? Did the mysterious event Really put a life to end? |

Enjay: Did she think a person dead? Or perhaps an animal instead? Was there a body there at all? Perhaps someone had had a fall? An animal victim she did face, But a fall is clearly not the case. For the body issue, see some next lines Or rephrasing the question would be helpful and fine. Jondahr: Did she believe that she saw the body, or the murder itself, or some hands that were bloody? She thought she was seeing just the deed But there was also a body going to bleed. Was the door that of a house, leading inside? Or into a cupboard where one could hide? Or a door between rooms, or - if we turn it about - the front door again, only leading her out? That was the front door, for a human or cat, Through which she entered her own flat. Did she spot the murder when she opened the door? Or had she seen it a little while before, through a window perhaps, or maybe on a screen? There has to be something through which this was seen! First she opened the door wide, Then the murder inside couldn't hide. Markobr: The obvious questions be permitted: Was there any crime committed? Did the mysterious event Really put a life to end? I will answer with this line sublime: There was no death and still no crime. |

An animal is present - so: Alive? Or dead since long ago? Did she, while screaming, know at all She was looking at an animal? Am I right when I proclaim: More persons will we have to name than just "her" - and if it's true: Only one, or three, or two? If greater numbers are to find - keep LTPF's list in mind! |

Markobr: An animal is present - so: Alive? Or dead since long ago? Did she, while screaming, know at all She was looking at an animal? She knew for sure - what she did see Was an animal, a victim-to-be And here's my answer not deceiving - The animal ended still living. Am I right when I proclaim: More persons will we have to name than just "her" - and if it's true: Only one, or three, or two? If greater numbers are to find - keep LTPF's list in mind! And your assumption is now true, As she is "a one", we still need "a two" As the animal counted should be It is certainly number three. |

Is "two" the person that she thought Was putting the animal to slaught(er)? An adult? Woman? Man, or child? And was the animal a pet? Or wild? Was the "murderer" in fact helping the beast? Or doing something kind, at least? |

Or doing something kind, at least? The adult man is our number two, He is the evil killer, too. A pet was animal number three That's how our heroes we should see. And I must tell, I must confess, That two last questions both get "Yes". |

Was the animal hurt at all When she saw it in the hall? Did she maybe see some blood, A sight which she misunderstood? Is our number two a vet? Or acting as such? Is it his pet? |

The animal, it is a pet. A cat? A dog? A mouse? A rat? Some other mammal? Bird? Reptile? (I hope it's not a crocodile!) Is the nature of the beast Somewhat relevant at least? The "killer" somehow helped the pet - Maybe just so it wouldn't be dead? |

I wonder if it might just happen that this man seemed to carry some weapon? A knife, a needle or a cane, though he did not mean to cause any pain? Is it relevant who this man is, and if the woman knew about this? |

Was the animal hurt? Wounded? Injured? In pain? Did the man try to help it? Successful? In vain? Was he covered in blood? Was he down on the floor? On his knees at the body to help it some more? |

Enjay: Was the animal hurt at all When she saw it in the hall? Did she maybe see some blood, A sight which she misunderstood? Is our number two a vet? Or acting as such? Is it his pet? Of course she then misunderstood, took something else for the pet's blood. Man's not a vet, but you will need The fact, that the pet was hurt indeed. Markobr: The animal, it is a pet. A cat? A dog? A mouse? A rat? Some other mammal? Bird? Reptile? (I hope it's not a crocodile!) Is the nature of the beast Somewhat relevant at least? The "killer" somehow helped the pet - Maybe just so it wouldn't be dead? The pet was a cat, pretty as such But it's not relevant so much. And I tell the truth, I do not lie, The cat was not likely to die. Jondahr: I wonder if it might just happen that this man seemed to carry some weapon? A knife, a needle or a cane, though he did not mean to cause any pain? Is it relevant who this man is, and if the woman knew about this? The woman knew him very well, It was her partner, I have to tell. Knife in his hand, and there he stood Surrounded by what she took for blood. Balin: Was the animal hurt? Wounded? Injured? In pain? Did the man try to help it? Successful? In vain? Was he covered in blood? Was he down on the floor? On his knees at the body to help it some more? The cat was hurt, but it wasn't severe, mostly grace to the actions of woman's dear. He stood there - but not in the hall And there was still no blood at all. |

She thought the cat with blood was tainted - Was it, in fact, with red ink painted? Did she see ketchup? Jam? Or juice? Some other red substance, near the puss? Was something broken by the cat? Did its injury come from that? Was the knife held near the kitty Such as to evoke her pity? |

Enjay: She thought the cat with blood was tainted - Was it, in fact, with red ink painted? Did she see ketchup? Jam? Or juice? Some other red substance, near the puss? A tomato sauce it happened to be, So ketchup's fairly close, you see. Was something broken by the cat? Did its injury come from that? Was the knife held near the kitty Such as to evoke her pity? Nothing was broken, but the kitty fine Really did something along these lines. And to continue puzzle show, The one last question gets a "no". |

Had the man been cooking, thus the knife in his hand, when the cat came and knocked over his bowl or pan, got covered in sauce which it spread as it ran - and limiting the spill was the mission of the man? |

Jondahr: Had the man been cooking, thus the knife in his hand, when the cat came and knocked over his bowl or pan, got covered in sauce which it spread as it ran - and limiting the spill was the mission of the man? Yes, you are right, I have to say, So here's the SPOILER on the way: *********************************** One evening, under the sky so blue, Planning romantic dinner for two, In the kitchen he stood, enlightened by moon Thinking about the woman, who should return soon. In the kitchen, quiet and still He cooked spaghetti, her favourite meal. He was, as he did sometimes in his life, Chopping some onions with a big knife. Behind him, in a kitchen pot, boiled tomato sauce, which he did a lot. Then suddenly, as he didn't look (Cause thinking what was next to cook) The woman's cat, loved Persian white, Entered the kitchen, out of his sight. For no reason, it started to run, Knocking over the boiling pan. Then falling itself, say more or less In the middle of the hot mess. The noise alarmed the man, who sure Grabbed the kitty by its fur Still holding a knife in his right hand, With kitty in left one he did stand. But his efforts were there in vain - White fur already got red stained. And a second after he saw that His beloved woman entered the flat. If you're curious what ispired me, That was a GIF which I did see To the full version the link I did find For you could see what I had in mind. As there is couple of them combined, That starting at 2'10'' you should find. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8Keo97K9cs Thanks for playing and congrats to Jondahr for the solve. |
