Ok, here's what I've got so far: Number of syllables, number of words, and length of the word all seem to be relevant. One word: begins with 6 One single syllable word = 6 (so far this is true for all lengths) One 2 syllable word with 4 letters = 62 One 2 syllable word with 6 letters = 628 (still need to play around with longer single words) Two words: begins with 2 Two single syllable words = 28 How is that so far? |

Ok, here's what I've got so far: Number of syllables, number of words, and length of the word all seem to be relevant. The number of words is, but the length and number of syllables in the word are only relevant in a yope-ish manner. One word: begins with 6 Right. One single syllable word = 6 (so far this is true for all lengths) One 2 syllable word with 4 letters = 62 One 2 syllable word with 6 letters = 628 Not necessarily for these.. (still need to play around with longer single words) Two words: begins with 2 Yes. Two single syllable words = 28 Again, not necessarily. It's not the number of syllables. How is that so far? Pretty good. |

So you seem to be using the sequence "62831853071..." to answer the questions. The number of words in the question determine which number you start with (6 for 1, 2 for 2 words, 8 for 3 words etc.). The number of digits you give is the same as the number of vowels in the question. Is the sequence part of pi? e? |

So you seem to be using the sequence "62831853071..." to answer the questions. The number of words in the question determine which number you start with (6 for 1, 2 for 2 words, 8 for 3 words etc.). Right! The number of digits you give is the same as the number of vowels in the question. Yes! Is the sequence part of pi? This is precisely half right. e? So it's not this. |

The sequence is 2*pi, isn't it? It is indeed... **********SPOILER********** My rulebreaker was inspired by 2*pi, also known as tau. As explained by Noel above, I counted the number of words in the question, determining what digit I start with, while the number of vowels tells how many digits I continue for. A shiny gold star goes to Noel for doing most of the work on this puzzle, Doriana for that last bit (and her previous questions), and to Balin for his questions earlier on as well. Look for a new puzzle of mine at the bottom of the page (eventually :P)! |

The relevance of the title is this video by Vi Hart. Her other channel introduced me to tau, the inspiration for this puzzle. |
