A rerun of one that i did several years ago. A lorry is parked by the roadside. There is a sloshing sound coming from inside its body. A man stands beside the lorry, banging his head into it. |

Summary (please note any line that is entirely accurate): A truck driver is at the side of the road upset about something. His truck is carrying some form of liquid - mostly water and the dead body of a woman. The woman had entered into the body of the truck before the liquid had. He knew she was there before he started driving. So presumably this was not what he was upset about. He negative emotions do not include fear. So presumably he is not, at this moment at least, afraid of being prosecuted for murder. Had she been there a while? longer than since the last time the truck was driven? Did she enter the truck of free will? alive? Did she die of [LTPF list of deaths]? Does the driver feel responsible for her death? Is he responsible for her death? Intentionally? Was he upset before he started driving? about the same thing as he later upset about at the side of the road? Something changed/ occurred during his truck journey that is directly responsible for his becoming upset? and his being at the side of the road? Did he pull over to the side of the road himself? Has he enough fuel to continue his journey? to complete his journey? Has he run out of time in some way? Has he upset about running out of/ losing something important other than fuel or time? Does his truck, less the weight of the fuel used to power the engine, weigh the same as it did when it started the journey? Is the truck in relation to his job? Is the liquid his typical cargo? the truck's typical cargo? Is the liquid intended for some use? waste? a form of fuel? |

Alternatively, if you disagree with my use of an LTPF list, I'd like to more specifically ask; Did she drown? Did she die as the result of a fall? Did she die as the result of a collision with a blunt object? Was she shot? stabbed? Was she intentionally killed? Though perhaps I should have first asked, is the way she died relevant? |

Hi Lynne! I remember that puzzle but vaguely. But I can tell you that the day we married, I picked up my wife-to-be in a rather dirty car, having planned to drive it through a car wash on the way to the place where the ceremony would take place. And so I did. This was of course a total clash of the feminine value "romantic wedding" and the male value "practicality". I did not see any obvious counterargument to the suggestion "why not just drive the car through a carwash on the way to the wedding". |

Was her body preserved in the block of salt? Was she supposed to be the wife of Loth? YES ***************** SPOILER ****************** In a cave, the archaeologist found a statue of some white material that he thought to be marble. He loaded it onto a lorry to take it to a place better suited for examination. On the way there, it began raining heavily. Somewhere along the way, the man stopped for a break, and to have another peek at his find. He now finds that it is gone. Tasting the water in the lorry's body, he finds it to be very salty. It dawns on him that his find was Lot's wife, who was turned into a statue of salt. So on the same day, he has made one of the most revolutionary archaeological finds ever, and ruined it totally by neglecting to protect it against the weather. |
