Hi Lynne! Hi Si!

Anything to do with:

Hand sewing? no
Domestic life? noish
Life in Ye olde East Anglia only in that I saw this in this area, but say no
National affairs not 'affairs' as such, but people the length of the country could have seen this
International affairs? no

By Eliot (Eliot) on Saturday, January 01, 2005 - 01:54 pm:

Chemistry? yes, but no technical knowledge required
Cooking (basically chemistry, only edible )? edible, yes, but no cooking takes place within the timeframe of the puzzle although as it involves the edible, cooking of a sort must have taken place at some time
Actual mathematics (please no...)? no, you're safe there, in fact I"m not even sure whether my puzzle statement is strictly accurate! :O

Is it a drink rather than a food?
Is it a mixture of ingredients?
Something like a pudding, cake, trifle, punch?
Does it contain alcohol?

Does the name indicate that the sum of parts is greater?

Is it humourous?

Is it a savoury foodstuff?
Or sweet?

Does something disappear or change significantly during the cooking process?

Have you eaten it recently?

Was there something missing?

Is the foodstuff all in one piece or is it loose like nuts are?

Is the fact that many ate it relevant?
