I am not sure that the LTPF List of Christian Sects is well-formed, but I will make a start: Adventists? Baptists? Anabaptists? Lutherans? Christian Scientists? Presbyterians? Methodists? Anglicans? Roman Catholics? Mormons? Quakers? Amish? Messianic Jews? Pentecostalists? |

is the emotion related to God? or to a deity (or deities) of any kind? is it relevant whether she was religious herself? was she? was her own religious belief called into question by her studies? did the emotion relate to a change in her religious beliefs? is the emotion caused by a sudden realisation that God does not exist? that there is no higher power? that we are 'on our own'? would the emotion be more pleasant to an atheist than a religious person? is Holy Communion relevant here? nuns? monks? abstinence of any sort? |

are children relevant here? did her research look at children in some way? was she studying the way people of a particular creed dealt with children? was she looking at the way children became 'adult' members of their religion? was she studying conversion to a particular creed? was she studying an extreme religious sect? an exclusive one? was she studying a group which kept to 'old fashioned' ways? like the Amish? the people who might find this emotion pleasant - do they share the same sort of outlook on life? the same politics? the same religious beliefs? the same beliefs about child rearing? the same beliefs about parenthood? to find this emotion pleasant would a person have to be a liberal? well educated? left wing? adventurous? |
