I am not sure that the LTPF List of Christian Sects is well-formed, but I will make a start: Adventists? Baptists? Anabaptists? Lutherans? Christian Scientists? Presbyterians? Methodists? Anglicans? Roman Catholics? Mormons? Quakers? Amish? Messianic Jews? Pentecostalists? | ||

are children relevant here? did her research look at children in some way? was she studying the way people of a particular creed dealt with children? was she looking at the way children became 'adult' members of their religion? was she studying conversion to a particular creed? was she studying an extreme religious sect? an exclusive one? was she studying a group which kept to 'old fashioned' ways? like the Amish? the people who might find this emotion pleasant - do they share the same sort of outlook on life? the same politics? the same religious beliefs? the same beliefs about child rearing? the same beliefs about parenthood? to find this emotion pleasant would a person have to be a liberal? well educated? left wing? adventurous? |
