A picture?
A print?

Do you do something with it other than look at it?
Is it interactive?
Is it mechanical?
Do you keep it in a room?
On your person?
Other?

A print? no

Do you do something with it other than look at it? you certainly can if you so wish
Is it interactive? not in the computer sense, but it is old-time interactive
Is it mechanical? no
Do you keep it in a room? yes
On your person? no
Other? I've seen some outside in a garden, but that's very rare - let's stick to a room in a house

Hi Lynne :)

size:
is it smaller than a matchbox? than a fist? than a head? than a computer monitor? than a car?

could it come in a variety of sizes?

is it's colour relevant? is it more than one colour?

was it making claims it couldn't substantiate? or making outlandish claims?

was it making claims about how enjoyable it was? how many hours of fun it would bring? (your puzzle response is the one we always give on reading that a dog chew will last for an hour - it usually lasts six minutes in our 'little one's' jaws..)

Is there one particular room you would normally place this offending item?

Is it solid?
Is it a plant?
Is it easy to pick up or do you need to brace yourself?

Is there one particular room you would normally place this offending item? the item itself hasn't offended - only the advertisers :)

Is it solid? yes
Is it a plant? no
Is it easy to pick up or do you need to brace yourself? depending on the size - usually it's mind your back two three four

Do you place it on the floor / table / hang it up? a table is the usual place

One of those glitter balls that you did a puzzle about before? no, I do try to cover different subjects - and you'll be kicking yourself when you find out this one or maybe not :)

"you'll be kicking yourself" - hmm, I'm suitably baffled at the moment

Is it a table centrepiece?
Have you got one?
Have I?
Do you know anyone who has?

Does it contain glass?
plastic?
wood?
Is it box shaped?
Is it curved?

You say the colour is relevant, so is it:

red / blue / yellow / black / white / combination / other?

Does it contain metal?
Not mechanical / not electrical / .. is it flexible?
Does it break easily?
Is it an "old fashioned item?
Is it a modern item?
Does it have feet?
A flat bottom, so to speak?
Do they normally cost more than £50?

You say the colour is relevant, so is it:

red / blue / yellow / black / white / combination / other? don't get too hung up on precise colours but black and white are definitely included as is reddish

Does it contain metal? small parts maybe
Not mechanical / not electrical / .. is it flexible? no - and there may be electrical components within it
Does it break easily? only if it's mistreated
Is it an "old fashioned item? yope
Is it a modern item? there are modern and old style versions of them
Does it have feet? no
A flat bottom, so to speak? yes
Do they normally cost more than £50? yes, often way more - which is the main reason why I don't have one
